TIME CONTROL: 90 minutes for 40 moves + 15 minutes for the rest of the game & 30 seconds per move from move 1.
The recording of the moves is compulsory for the entire duration of the game.
Chessplayers who have not arrived at their board after 60 minutes from the start of the round shall lose the game.
TIE-BREAK CRITERIA:
a) The results between the players in the same score-group (provided they have all played each other).
b) Sum of Progressive Scores (FIDE Tie-Break and FIDE Tie-Break Fine).
c) Buchholz Tie-Break.
d) Sonnenborn-Berger Tie-Break.
STARTING RANK: The starting rank shall be determined by: a) FIDE Rating and Title, b) National Rating and Title, c) Alphabetical Order according to the latin alphabet.
PARTICIPATION: Participation is open to all chessplayers with a valid ID Card of the Greek Chess Federation or other federation.

Greek Youth Champions of 2010 are exempt from the entry fee
All players rated over 2300, as well as GMs and WGMs are exempt from the entry fee
30€ for all players
25€ for players under 18 years old

* In case of a tie, cash prizes are distributed according to the Hort System (50% of the prizes split equally and 50% split according to tie-break criteria.
* Boys and Girls in the U18, U16, U14 and U12 categories are eligible for the prizes of their respective age category only. However, should such a player be entitled to a cash prize as well, he/she will receive both the cash prize and the special category prize.
* In case a player is entitled to more than one cash prize, he shall receive the highest one only.
ACCOMODATION: Each participant is free to arrange his/her accommodation. You may you’re your room directly with the hotel or apartment of your choice.

APPEALS: An appeal against an arbiter’s decision can be submitted in writing to the Tournament Director, at the latest thirty (30) minutes after the end of the round, accompanied by an appeal fee of 50 euros. The fee is returned in case the appeal is vindicated.
Appeals shall be judged by a three-member Appeals Committee (with two reserves), which will be announced by the Tournament Director before the start of the first round. The committee’s decisions shall be announced on the same day and are final and irrevocable.
SCHEDULE: A player who loses a game by forfeit shall be considered to have withdrawn from the tournament, unless his/her absence is considered justified.
Every player is entitled to one (justified) exception from the pairings.
CONDITIONS:
Conditions for invited players are limited and subject to order of priority.
